For many of us, putting everyone else first is just our way of life. Your secret wishes and dreams become buried under the needs of your children, families, work, and volunteering. There are things you have been meaning to do, but everything else has taken over your time and energy. When you abandon your dreams you lose your spark.
Now is the time to re-discover the things you once loved and to re-integrate them back into your life. We can always fill our time with things to do. I ask that you choose to include activities that you personally are passionate about - to tap into the excitement and energy that you feel when you are doing something that you love. I encourage you to explore new things. You may find a new passion.
Your passion is like a yearning that is being whispered from deep in your heart. When you engage in your passion you forget about the time, yourself, your surroundings and your day to day struggles. You are not worried about pleasing anyone but yourself. In fact, it is something that you would do even if no one saw or acknowledged your efforts.
